6 Step Treatment Program:
Round 1:
Fertilizer, Pre-emergent, Post-emergent, Liquid Aeration, Soil Conditioner
This treatment will begin to give the turf the nutrients it needs to emerge from dormancy. Your lawn will start actively growing around the middle of March, depending on soil temperature. It is essential to begin supplementing nitrogen to the lawn so the turf can get as thick and healthy as possible before summer. The pre-emergent is a preventative treatment for crabgrass and other unwanted weeds. Crabgrass and other unwanted grasses are not controlled by normal selective broadleaf post-emergent, therefore it is best if it can be prevented. The post-emergent application will eliminate in grass weeds. Eliminating in grass weeds is also a very important step to take early on because weeds uptake water, air, and nutrients your grass needs to flourish. Liquid Aeration decreases soil compaction and allows more water, air, and nutrients to penetrate deeper into the soil. Soil Conditioner will help the overall quality of your soil to better the living environment for your turf!
Round 2:
Fertilizer, Post-emergent, Biological Magnifier, Solu-Cal, Soil Conditioner
This treatment is to continue preparing your lawn for warmer summer conditions and water depravation. The fertilizer will provide the turf with nutrients it needs for active development during the growing season. The post-emergent will eliminate in grass broadleaf weeds that have germinated since the previous treatment. Iron application will enhance chlorophyl production which is needed for photosynthesis, which means greener grass! The Biological Magnifier contains humid acid and sea kelp which increases root growth and decreases stress caused by heat and drought. Solu-Cal is a fast acting pH adjuster, which acts much like lime to raise the pH level of your soil. Over time, your soil becomes more acidic due to decomposition of grass, rain, fertilizer, and other contributing factors. Solu-Cal helps reverse these effects to give your soil the proper pH level of around 6 - 6.5 to help your turf flourish. The soil conditioner will help the overall quality of your soil to better the living environment for your turf!
Round 3:
Fertilizer, Iron, Potassium, Soil Conditioner, Liquid Dethatch
This treatment provides a controlled release fertilizer which provides a slow release of nutrients to your turf to prevent “burning” of the grass. Iron is also applied which helps increase photosynthesis which helps your lawn keep its “green” during the hot summer temperatures and minimal water conditions. Humic acid is also applied which increases root growth, chlorophyl content, nutrient uptake, improves soil structure, improves water retention, and improves plant quality. Potassium is also applied in this treatment which increases the cell wall of the grass, making it more resistant to drought and high temperatures. The soil conditioner will help the overall quality of your soil to better the living environment for your turf. The liquid dethatch will help break down the unhealthy layer of thatch which allows more air, water, and nutrients to penetrate the soil!
Round 4:

Round 5:
Fertilizer, Biological Magnifier, Aeration, Over-seeding, Solu-Cal, Liquid Dethatch, Soil Conditioner, Pre and Post Emergent
This treatment starts with a thorough aeration of the soil to provide more soil contact for grass seed germination, loosens the soil, and increases air content in the soil. A premium tall-turf type 4-way fescue blend will be applied. The four strands of fescue will ensure optimal seed germination and growth. Soul-Cal, a fast acting pH adjuster, is then applied to ensure proper pH level of the soil for increased seed germination. Fertilizer and a biological magnifier are then applied to enhance germination and growth of the new fescue. The liquid dethatch will help break down the unhealthy layer of thatch which allows more air, water, and nutrients to penetrate the soil! Pre and Post emergent herbicides applied at seeding eliminate weeds currently in your lawn and prevent unwanted weeds from germinating at time of seeding.
Round 6:
Fertilizer, Biological Magnifier, Liquid Aeration
This treatment will provide the grass with nutrients it needs to develop over the fall and winter months. This treatment helps the root development over the dormancy period throughout the winter months. This ensures proper health and growth in the spring time. Liquid Aeration decreases soil compaction and allows more water, air, and nutrients to penetrate deeper into the soil.
